Last March, our speech and language team, overseen by Dr. Paula Pineda, gave a presentation on language development to our teaching staff. Emma D. Petersen and Amanda Silber, both of whom have spent time in our classrooms, focused on language development from infancy to early childhood, with a special emphasis on bilingualism and strategies to assist in communication in the classroom.
