Our classrooms are 3K/4K-PreK and Head Start with contracts from the New York City Department of Education.  Information on applying

 Eligibility

Bloomingdale’s classrooms serve children who are 3 and 4 years old. Our program is free for all children. Eligibility for our Head Start classrooms is at this link 

 Enrollment

Families are notified in June about September enrollment. Children may be enrolled throughout the year if space is available. Once your child is accepted into the program, staff will contact you to provide information and answer your questions.

Family Partnership

Beginning with your child’s enrollment in the program, your family becomes part of our extended Bloomingdale family. Family partnership brings teachers, staff, and parents together in a relationship of mutual respect and trust. We will work together to provide the best possible program for your child. We will invite you to become involved in Parent Committees, take part in parent workshops, and contribute your skills and ideas to the program. We will help you obtain services and educational and job opportunities. Our partnership continues after your child has graduated from the program. Whether to ask for support or just to stay in touch, alumni parents and children always remain part of the Bloomingdale family.
