Our annual Cultural Diversity Celebration culminates in a day in which families are welcomed into the classrooms and also participate in family portraits. This year the event took place on a regular school day which meant it was shorter than in the past. However, teachers ensured that it was really a cultural diversity celebration that took place in the classrooms starting the previous week. You can see the rich array of activities and artwork in the classroom videos below. Thank you to Emily Alvarez, the founder of our event, for the display of art and artifacts she presented at the school. Thanks as well to our teachers, who worked creatively to expose the children and the Bloomingdale community to our many cultures.
