People who work at Bloomingdale become part of the Bloomingdale family. Sometimes they have to leave us, but they are not forgotten. Here is a look at Noreen Sadiq, who worked for Bloomingdale as an assistant teacher from 2018 until the fall of 2020.
Noreen came to the US from Pakistan in 2012. Her fluency in Urdu, and her experience in the Bloomingdale classrooms, has landed her a great job in a bilingual Kindergarten in her new home of Greensboro, NC. She has learned to drive, has her own apartment, and best of all, she is close to her family.
Noreen shared some thoughts about her time at Bloomingdale: “The environment was very friendly. All teachers were very cooperative and I was very lucky that I got the opportunity to learn from each teacher. Every day I learned something new which helps me in my current job. Working with young children “puts a smile on your face” every day.”
Her friend and colleague, Jacqueline DeLeon, had this to say, “Noreen is an amazing teacher. She is so caring and loving with the children and an enormous help as an assistant teacher. She was always eager to learn and improve herself. We had and will always have a good friendship.”
