For weeks before our Cultural Diversity Day Celebration on April 14, our classrooms were buzzing with projects exploring family cultures and other ways in which we form a sense of self. Copies of our book for this year Whoever You Are by Mem Fox went home for children to read with their families. Read aloud versions done by our teachers can be found on our Picture Books Read Aloud page.
