Job Title: Development Associate/Outreach Coordinator – This is an opportunity to support and possibly expand the services of a high quality pre-school program to help meet the needs of the community.

Company Intro: The Bloomingdale Family Program is a community-based preschool currently offering 3k, PreK, and Head Start service. Bloomingdale has been in the Manhattan Valley community since 1960. Through various contracts and partnerships, we provide a high-quality, inclusive preschool education that values parent engagement and supports all children, including those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and those with disabilities. Through a whole-child approach, we nurture intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth, ensuring children and their families are equipped with the skills and confidence needed for a smooth transition to kindergarten.

• Job Position Description: The Development Associate/Outreach Coordinator works closely with the Executive Director regarding all fundraising aspects, engages in and facilitates outreach opportunities, and manages events and logistics. As part of the administrative team, this person will act professionally while supporting and working with others toward maintaining the programs mission. The qualified candidate will have superior written and communication skills (proficiency in Spanish language a plus but not required), at least two years’ experience in a people-facing role, is a team player eager to share their skills and learn from others, self-directed, ability to research potential grants, write grant proposals, and complete grant reports in collaboration with key staff, able to meet deadlines, has exceptional organizational skills and is proficient in Microsoft Office.

The salary ranges from $50,000 to $ 60,000 and is based on experience and qualifications.
